Spring Grove Students Excel at Hanover Gymnastics

Spring Grove gymnasts had an outstanding season competing with the Hanover Gymnastics team.  Several SGASD athletes earned medals, achieved personal bests, and earned spots at the State Competition. Highlights for our Rocket gymnasts include:

Girls Gymnastics

Level 3

• Elizabeth Horne (SGE) - qualified for Level 3 PA State Championships where she finished 3rd on floor, personal best on floor (9.375)

Level 4

• Carley Bollinger (SGE) - qualified for Level 4 PA State Championships, personal best on floor (8.9).
• Sarah Dellinger (SGI) - qualified for Level 4 PA State Championships where she finished 3rd on vault, 2nd on bars, and 5th in the all-around, holds the Hanover Gymnastics 2026 Level 4 individual record on bars (9.750).
• Kaelyn Klunk (SGI) - qualified for Level 4 Pa State Championships where she finished 5th on bars, personal best on bars (9.7)
• Bailey Soper (SGE) - qualified for Level 4 PA State Championship where she finished 2nd on vault, personal best on vault (9.4)
• Savannah Akers (SGE) - 1st year in Level 4, personal best on vault (9.0)

Level 6

• Gemma Gantz (SGI) - qualified for Level 6 PA State Championships where she finished 5th on vault, personal best on vault (9.575)
• Quinn Yohe (SGE) - qualified for Level 6 PA State Championships where she became the PA Vault State Champion (9.35), finished 3rd on beam, and 2nd in the all-around, personal best on beam (9.575)
• Aubrey Zartman (SGI) - qualified for Level 6 PA State Championships where she was the State Champion on bars, 4th on beam, and 3rd in the all-around, personal best on bars (9.55) and beam (9.425)

Level 8

• Marcy Neiderer (SGAHS) - 2nd year qualifying for Level 8 PA State Championships, personal best on beam (8.975)

Level 9

• Ruby Trimmer (SGAMS) - 2nd year Level 9 gymnast, personal best on vault (9.0)
• Vienna DeRienzo (SGAMS) - qualified for Level 9 PA State Championships and Region 7 Regional Championships, finish in the top 5 at Regionals on bars and beam, personal best on bars (9.425) and beam (9.65), Ranked 63rd on the America’s Top 100 Level 9 Beam Scores of 2026

XCEL

• Didi Kalathas (SGAMS) - qualified for XCEL Platinum PA State Championships and Region 7 XCEL Regional Championships, finished in the top 5 in the all-around at States, finished in the top 5 on vault and beam at Regionals, personal best on vault (9.45), beam (9.45), and floor (9.6)
• Emma Brooks (SGAMS) - qualified for XCEL Gold Pa State Championships and Region 7 XCEL Regional Championships, became the PA XCEL Gold Beam State Champion (9.825), the PA XCEL Gold Floor State Champion (9.65), and the PA XCEL Gold All-Around State Champion (38.225), became the Region 7 XCEL Gold Regional Champion on Floor (9.8), holds the Hanover Gymnastics 2026 XCEL Gold individual records on beam, floor, and for the all-around.
• Temprince Lawyer (SGI) - personal best on bars (9.025) and beam (9.025)
• Anna Kaminkow (SGAHS) - qualified for XCEL Diamond PA State Championships and Region 7 XCEL Diamond Regional Championships, finished 5th on beam and 4th on floor at States, finished 4th on floor at Regionals, personal best on floor (9.575), holds the Hanover Gymnastics XCEL Diamond individual record on beam (9.525)
• Aaliyah Joseph (SGAMS) - qualified for XCEL Gold PA State Championships and Region 7 XCEL Gold Regional Championships, became the PA XCEL Gold Floor State Champion (9.575) and the XCEL Gold PA All-Around State Champion (37.775), finished 3rd on floor (9.5) at Regionals, earned person bests at States
• Ella Henry (SGI) - qualified for XCEL Gold PA State Championships and Region 7 XCEL Gold Regional Championships, finished 3rd on beam (9.55) and 2nd on floor (9.325) at States, finished 4th on floor at Regionals, personal best on floor (9.45)

 
Boys Gymnastics

• Mario DeRienzo (SGAMS) - qualified for PA Men’s State Championships, Region 6 Men’s Regional Championships, and Men’s Eastern National Championships, became the PA Men’s State High Bar Champion (12.000), finished 2nd on rings (12.200) and 3rd on high bar (11.450) at Regionals, finished 2nd on rings (11.750) and high bar (11.350) at Nationals
